FUELING THE CLIMB

Success in college football requires the support of a strong, well-funded Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) operation. The Battle’s End was founded with the sole intention of building a sustainable, best-in-class NIL operation for Florida State Football. The members and corporate partners of The Battle’s End directly fuel the CLIMB by providing Head Coach Mike Norvell and his staff with the edge needed in recruiting and ability to consistently compete for championships. As a member of The Battle’s End, you're not just a fan; you're a direct participant in ensuring FSU Football maintains its rightful place among the college football elite.

WHAT IS NIL?

NIL broadly refers to an individual athlete’s name, image, and likeness and typically refers to the now-permitted practice of college athletes monetizing their names, images, and likenesses. The NCAA lifted restrictions on athletes earning money through use of their NIL on July 1, 2021. Prior to this decisions, student athletes could be stripped of their athletic eligibility for receiving compensation of any kind while competing in college sports.

Athletes are still prohibited from being compensated for on-field activities or performance. However, players are now able to monetize their name, image, or likeness. This can include a broad array of activities including sponsorships, endorsements, and advertising opportunities. Under these new laws and NCAA rules, schools and booster organizations COULD NOT fund or provide NIL deals to athletes.

This gave rise to 3rd-party organizations like The Battle’s End that can directly compensate athletes for the right to market the NIL of those athletes and help them maximize the value of their name, image, and likeness. NIL gives athletes the ability to maximize their individual brand, pursue interests beyond their sport, support their families, and give back to their communities.
