Redshirt-freshman Lucas Simmons from Stockholm, Sweden, is returning to The Battle’s End for the 2024 season. He comes in at a staggering 6’8” 313, and before coming to FSU was a top 75 recruit, ranked as the 10th overall offensive tackle. We are excited to partner with Lucas again and see him put his talent on display.

“I’ll be giving my all throughout my time at Florida State. I’m planning on being a Seminole for life and I want to produce.”

After transferring from arch-rival Miami, Jackson did not receive a waiver to play in the teams 2023 season. Looking ahead to 2024 however, Jackson will have a heavy workload and look to make a name for himself in Tallahassee. Coming in at 6’6’’ and 300 pounds Jackson is a force to be reckoned with in the trenches.

Hussey played a huge role in his true freshman season, originally from the South Florida powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas Conrad was a consensus four-star recruit coming out of highschool. He played in all 14 games for the Noles this season and tallied 22 total tackles, 2 forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one interception. He resigned with The Battle’s End for the upcoming 2024 season and primed for another great season.

Holmes, a Titusville, Florida native and Penn State transfer, shined in his first year of playing for the Noles. He rushed for 185 yards on just 29 carries, and added 58 receiving yards on only 5 catches. On top of that, he found pay dirt in the endzone four times. Caziah was the 5th ranked running back coming out of highschool in the 2019 recruiting class.

“I'm just trying to prove myself right instead of trying to prove everybody wrong. I'm just taking it day by day. It's God's plan so I'm not rushing it.”

Omar Graham Jr. is expected to play a big role for the Noles in 2024. After playing behind Kalen DeLoach and Tatum Bethune last year, he is expected to lead the linebacker unit with DJ Lundy. Last year, Omar played in all 14 games for the Noles and totalled 23 tackles, and 2.0 tackles for loss. We are very excited to have him on the team for this upcoming season.

“Iron sharpens iron too, just liked going against them, jordan and all the great running backs, tight ends, and just all the receivers, and just all the looks they’re giving us it’s amazing.”

Appeared in all 13 games during the 2023 season recording 53 tackles, 2 for a loss, 2 sacks, and an INT. Known for his diving interception against Duke, Brown looks ready to come firing out the gate and uphold the standard on the defensive side of the ball.

“I feel like i improved on a whole another level, my eyes done got right, I’m more consistent, I’m playing faster, it’s a year ago so if you dont get better in a year then you know Florida State isn’t the place for you.”

A four-star talent, ranked among the top safeties nationally, he showcased his defense with 49 tackles and two interceptions, contributing to his High School teams success in the state playoffs. Known for his speed, he excelled in track, winning championships and regional titles. With a promising start at FSU, he logged 3 tackles in 5 games.

“Once you get to college (highschool) stars don’t really matter. That’s a whole different level of football, you are playing against grown men. It’s just about coming in, putting in the work, getting your body right and learning the scheme so you can get on the field and play.”

Tennessee native Brock Glenn is coming back for another season with the Noles. Glenn appeared in 3 regular season games, along with the ACC Championship Game and the Orange Bowl, where he got quality starts due to injuries. Glenn compiled 229 passing yards along with 22 rushing yards.

“After the year that FSU had it was a no brainer. Seeing what they are able to do on offense and produce the amount of points that they do and put up the numbers they do, it definitely gets you excited as a quarterback and makes you want to play in this system.”

Coming from South Florida, Edwin was a part of a national powerhouse in Chaminade-Madonna Preparatory. He saw his true freshman season end with an injury, however we are more than excited to bring him back for the upcoming 2024 season and can’t wait for him to put his talents on display for Noles fans.

A top 150 recruit coming out of highschool, Nichelson was primed to make an immediate impact for FSU. He played in all 14 games for the Noles, tallying 17 total tackles, and one pass breakup. Blake is again prepared to take another big step in the 2024 season.

Ashlynd Barker, a JUCO product, started his career at Iowa Western before transferring to Florida State for his redshirt freshman season. He played in all 14 games for the Noles tallying 11 total tackles, 1.0 sack, and 1.0 TFL. During his only season at Iowa Western, the team won the NJCAA national championship with a 31-0 shutout win over Hutchinson. He was also a two-sport athlete in highschool, playing both football and basketball.

“I feel like I can play a lot on the field. As far as length goes I feel like I can cover all over the field. I’m a good tackler and I feel like I fit right in on this defense.”

An Orlando, Florida prospect, and consensus four-star recruit, Bates is a pass catcher turned pass defender with plenty of developmental upside. Given his length and tentacle arms, Bates is also a two-sport athlete playing both football and basketball for his hometown team Edgewater. During his senior season his team went 12-1 in Florida's new 3M state playoffs. His stats included 4 interceptions, and 7 pass-break-ups in just a handful of games.

“The best business decision from guys like Pat Surtain and Coach Fuller, those guys that have been there and done it, I feel like they can show me better than just tell me and I feel like they understand from a player’s point of view and I just feel like those are the guys I want to be around to develop with”

Charles Lester is a name to watch out for. The talented cornerback from Venice, FL chose the Noles over Alabama and Colorado. His length and fluidity makes sure that Lester can keep up with the best of them. Although in high school his talent enabled him to play both offense and defense, watch out for an electric playmaker in Florida State’s backfield.

Jaylin Lucas, the brother of Ja’Khi Douglas committed to the Noles this past off-season after starting his career at Indiana. He is an electric and lightning fast running back that will also play part in the return game for the Noles. Lucas runs a 10.64 100 yard dash, and has returned 3 kick returns for touchdowns in his two years at Indiana.

“They had a great season last season, but I just felt like it was the best fit for me but i also wanted to play with my brother and just what coach norvell got going on here”

LaWayne McCoy, better known as Weezy, is a flashy and very fun to watch wide receiver out of Miami Central in South Florida. He was a four-star prospect and ranked as the No.6 athlete in the 2024 class. A two-time Nat Moore trophy finalist, awarded to the top player regardless of position in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties.

One of Florida State’s biggest recruiting wins of 2024, the former top 100 recruit was wrestled away from the former two time defending champions, Georgia. As the third highest rated tight-end since the 2000s for FSU, Thomas is an electric player that is already projected to be a big part of the tight-end rotation in 2024. At 6’4” and 235 pounds coming out of high school, Thomas has the making of a star at FSU.

The longest committed prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, and one of the top running backs nationally, is ready to make an immediate impact for the Noles. Davis has been committed since February of 2021, through the ups and downs of Mike Norvell's tenure at Florida State. He played quarterback in high school, and will wear number 3 for the Noles.

A Georgia native and freshman wide receiver, Gibson is known for his big play ability. Originally committed to Tennessee to play baseball, BJ will look to do both for the Noles in Tallahassee. He was a four-year starter on both offense and defense for Wilcox County, and earned all-region honors for his senior season.

Alabama native Roydell Williams is joining the Noles this season. Roydell started his career at Alabama. Last season he played in all 14 games, ending the season with 560 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 111 carries, as well as 11 catches for 58 yards and one score. Roydell also saw time as a kick returner on special teams.

Earl Little, a South Florida native, was a top defensive back in the class of 2022. He started his career at Alabama. Florida State was a close second in his recruitment coming out of high school. He redshirted his freshmen year at Alabama due to injury and played in 9 games last season on both defense and special teams. Nole nation is excited to see Earl's impact on defense this season.

“Originally it was either here or Alabama.. Keeping that relationship with Coach Norvell and Coach Fuller, and obviously I had that relationship with Coach Pat since he coached me in high school, it was a no brainer.”

TJ Ferguson will be joining the Noles this season after committing this past offseason. TJ, originally from Fort Valley, Georgia, spent three seasons at Alabama before transferring to FSU. He has in-game experience from his time at Alabama playing both center and guard. TJ is a powerful offensive linemen and Nole nation is excited to see him contribute to the OL unit.

“Just by buying into the standard that they've built here. The culture, the standard, everything that they've built here was what they told me coming out of high school so I can take their word for that. And I saw it first-hand. Just an improvement over the years.”

We are excited to announce a partnership with Justin Cryer for the 2024 season. "Juice" is entering his sophomore season with the Seminoles. As a true freshman, he played in 13 games last season recording 12 tackles, and made the All-ACC Academic Team. We are excited to partner with Justin and see him put his talent on display.

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Manasse moved to California for basketball and began playing football during his sophomor e year. Pensacola native, Jonathan Daniels is joining The Battle's End for his first season at FSU. He was a four-star prospect and was ranked 4th among interior lineman nationally. Freshman Ricky Knight is joining the Noles this season. Ricky is from West Palm Beach and helped Cardinal Newman make it to the second round of playoffs in his senior season. Senior year he played on both sides of the ball and recorded 18 tackles and an interception. Ricky also ran track in high school and recorded an 11.57 (0.9) in the 100-meter dash in his junior year. We are happy to be partnering with Ricky and to see him officially be a Nole.

Amaree Williams is joining The Battle's End for his first collegiate season. The Palm Beach native was a four-star prospect and was ranked as the 8th athletes prospect nationally, and reclassified to the class of 2024 in November. In high school he played both sides of the ball and competed in track and field. Coming in at a staggering 6'4 215, Amaree is an exciting addition to the Noles defensive unit. We're thrilled to partner with Amaree.

Connecticut native, Jacob Rizy is joining the Noles and The Battle's End this season. After high school Jacob took his talents to Harvard where he was a two-time all conference performer. He was a First-Team All-Ivy League selection in 2023 and a Second-Team All-Ivy selection in 2022. Jacob is now taking his talents to Tallahassee and will be joining the Noles offensive unit. We are excited to see him showcase his talents this season.

“Seeing what Coach Atkins could do specifically for a guy who's been in my shoes was really what turned me there because a lot of great other schools were recruiting me, but you know the consistency of the o-line coach position was was something that Florida State had that most other places didn't.”

Consensus four-star recruit, Macahi Danzy is joining The Battle's End. His speed makes him a force to be reckoned with in the run game. He won the 400-meter dash and earned silver in 200 at 2023 USATF National Junior Olympics, and was the FHSAA 2A state champion in 200 and 400 in 2023 and 2024. The Tallahassee native is staying in the capital city to put his talents on display for nole nation. We're thrilled to partner with Macahi for his first season.

Shamar Arnoux, four-star defensive back from Carrollton, Georgia, joins Florida State in the 2025 class. Ranked among the nation’s top cornerbacks, he helped lead Carrollton to the Georgia 6A state semifinals and previously won a 7A state​ title with Milton. Shamar was a two-sport athlete in football and track in high school. Flipping his commitment from Auburn to FSU, Arnoux brings physicality and versatility to the Seminoles' secondary.

“Ultimately why I picked Florida State, I'll say it's because I put the trust into this program and into the coaches apart of this rebuild”

Four-star wide receiver looks to be a stand out athlete for Florida State Football. His standout senior season earned him Florida’s Mr. Football award, recognizing him as the state’s top high school player. The receiver from Cocoa High School ended his senior year with 99 catches for 2,133 yards and 24 touchdowns helping lead his team to a 2A State Championship. Jayvan brings elite route-running and playmaking ability, and The Battles End is excited to announce a partnership with a future rising star.

Thomas Castellanos, a 5'11", 196-pound quarterback from Waycross, Georgia, joins Florida State for the 2025 season. At Boston College, he accumulated 3,614 passing yards with 33 touchdowns and 1,307 rushing yards with 14 touchdowns over two seasons. After notable stints at UCF and Boston College, Castellanos is excited to play under new Offensive Coordinator and former head coach Gus Malzahn again. Hoping to build chemistry with the rest of the team, Castellanos has proven to be a leader and expects to be a part of something special.

“The interest I had in Florida State, I've had that interest since I was a kid. I have family that go here. It's been my dream school. So it was just exciting to be here and be a part of this team."

Tyeland Coleman, defensive lineman from Terry, Mississippi, joins Florida State for the 2025 season. Ranked #9 nationally in Juco rankings, the former Northwest Mississippi Community College star looks to continue his dominance at Florida State University. The Defensive Lineman had 30 tackles and 1.5 sacks. The Mississippi native looks to make a huge impact this upcoming season.

“It feels good to play for FSU, especially coming from JUCO. I just want to give it my all out there.”

Darryll Desir from Miami, Florida, joins Florida State's 2025 recruiting class alongside his twin brother, Mandrell. Darryll was a standout on the defensive line at Norland High School. He recorded 72 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks in his senior year, leading his team to the regional finals of the 2024 FHSAA 4A state playoffs. Daryll is a force to be reckoned with and will be a huge impact this season.

“I'm here to get on the field early and make an impact early, so that's all I'm here to do. I'm doing my job.”

Mandrell Desir from Miami, Florida, joins Florida State's 2025 recruiting class alongside his twin brother, Darryll. The edge rusher out of Norland High School tallied 66 tackles, 17 of which were for a loss, and 12 sacks helping his team reach a 14-1 record in his senior season. He looks to continue his legacy at Florida State as he shows immense potential. He is a promising talent that should make a huge impact this season.

Tennessee native, Markeston Douglas returns to Florida State for the 2025 season after a brief stint at Arizona State. During his 3 seasons at Florida State he has totalled 25 receptions for 326 yards and 4 touchdowns. Recognizing FSU as his true home, Douglas rejoined the Seminoles, bringing experience and depth to the tight end position. His veteran status allows him to serve as a mentor for the younger guys and will be a huge help in the future.

Tae’shaun Gelsey, four-star wide receiver from Riverside High School in Jacksonville will add impressive speed and route running to our Florida State Football roster this season. The Florida native helped his team reach the regional quarterfinals of the 2024 4A State Playoffs, tallying 61 receptions for 875 yards and 14 touchdowns his senior season. Tae’shaun also played basketball in high​ school. He has a bright future ahead of him and looks to make some noise this coming season.

“FSU’s always been my dream school. My dad is a FSU fan so I really grew up watching FSU, so that really played a part in it as well like it's my dream school and I got the opportunity to go here and play the position I want to play.”

Boca Raton native, Gunnar Hansen, returns to his home state and is joining the Seminoles this season. Gunnar spent 4 seasons at Vanderbilt where he appeared in 35 games. The versatile offensive lineman recorded 27 starts at left tackle, four at left guard, and four at right tackle. Gunnar is a force to be reckoned with and is looking to continue his dominance with our offensive line.

LaJesse Harrold is joining the Seminoles this season as a part of the 2025 recruiting class. The four-star defensive lineman out of Gaither High School in Tampa was ranked the number 13 edge rusher in the 2025 class. In his senior season he recorded 38 tackles, 16 for a loss, and 11 sacks. He also had one interception and four fumble recoveries helping lead his team to the second round of Florida 5A state playoffs. LaJesse is a powerful player and will seamlessly integrate into our Florida State Defense.

Five-star Tylon Lee is joining the Seminoles and looks to make a name for himself at Florida State. Tylon was ranked #24 overall and #3 edge rusher in the class of 2025. Over his three seasons at Pace High School he had 236 tackles, 70 tackles for a loss, and 14.5 sacks. In senior season he recorded 87 tackles, 40 of which were for a loss. This strong defensive lineman shows immense potential and could be the future of the Florida State Defense.

“Florida State is a great school. There’s a legacy left here with the old coaches, old players, and stuff. You know the coaches, they push you not only on the field but also off the field so that's what kind of brought me here.”

Four-star tight end Chase Loftin joins the Seminoles as a part of the 2025 recruiting class. Chase was ranked the #2 prospect in the state of Nebraska. Tallying 57 receptions for 837 yards and 12 touchdowns in his senior season at Millard South, leading them to a state championship for the first time in 15 years. We’re excited to have Chase join our tight end room.

Western Kentucky transfer Deante McCray has joined the Seminoles. The Jacksonville native appeared in 29 games over three seasons at Western Kentucky. He recorded 104 tackles, 7.5 for a loss, and 3.5 sacks with one forced fumble. In 2024, he earned All-Conference USA honorable mention recognition after recording 59 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and a blocked field goal. Deante brings experience and versatility to the Seminoles' defensive front.

Adrian Medley transferred from UCF this offseason, joining the Seminole for his senior season. The Pensacola native played under the new offensive coordinator, Gus Malzahn, for four seasons at UCF. He appeared in 26 games helping to produce two seasons with a top-20 offense. Adrien brings experience to the new offense and looks to leave his mark on Florida State this upcoming season.

Four star offensive lineman joined the Seminoles as a part of the 2025 recruiting class. The Mississippi native shows an immense athletic upside as a three sport athlete playing in football, baseball, and discus in high school. Initially committed to Mississippi State, Nash flipped his commitment to FSU in October 2024, due to his belief in Coach Norvell's vision for the program. Known for his versatility and athleticism, Nash is expected to contribute significantly to the Seminoles' offensive line.

“I stuck with FSU because I believe in what Coach Norvell is doing here, and you know the vision that we have here and the culture.”

This Wake Forest Graduate transfer, Luke Petitbon is joining the Seminoles offensive line this season. The Maryland native appeared in 11 games in 2024, making ten starts at center, and earned All-ACC Honorable Mention recognition. Luke allowed only one sack in 2024 tying the fewest amongst ACC centers. He looks to make his mark on Florida State Football this upcoming season.

“Getting down here and visiting you know, it felt like home to me and it felt like home to my parents. They embraced my parents and myself right away. I felt like it was a good fit and I think that you look at what Coach Norvell has done here at Florida State. Steady improvements is what I've seen from Florida state from afar and I'm excited to be a part of it.”

Alabama native, Micah Pettus joined the Seminoles this season. This Ole Miss Transfer appeared in 32 games at right tackle, starting in 29 of them during his three season tenure there. Last season, Micah started 11 games, playing 765 snaps and achieving a pass-blocking grade of 74.0, the highest among the Rebels' starting offensive linemen. Micah bring significant experience to the offensive line and we’re excited to see his impact on the field this season.

Panama City native, Randy Pittman Jr. returns to North Florida to join Florida State this season. The UCF transfer played in all 25 games in his 2 season tenure at UCF, under new Florida State offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn. Randy caught 51 passes for 631 yards and 3 touchdowns at UCF. In high school he displayed his extreme athletic ability playing tight end, quarterback, running back, and wide receiver at Mosley High School. Looking forward to seeing what Pittman has to offer this upcoming season for the Seminoles.

Florida Native, Ethan Pritchard is joining the Seminoles as a part of the 2025 recruiting class after being committed to FSU for over a year. The four-star linebacker out of Seminole High School was ranked the #27 linebacker in the country. Ethan helped lead his high school to a 10-2 record, tallying 39 tackles and 7.0 for loss. The longtime FSU commit looks to make a huge impact on Florida State's defense and we look forward to watching his development over the next 4 years.

Former 5-star recruit and FSU legacy, Duce Robinson is joining the Seminoles this season. Duce spent two seasons at USC where he played in 23 games, catching 39 passes for 747 yards and 7 touchdowns. The junior shows immense athleticism, previously playing both baseball and football at USC and in high school. Duce is looking to make an immediate impact on the offense and hopes to follow in his fathers footsteps to win a national championship at FSU.

“Florida State's always been a very special place to me. You know growing up my pops went to Florida State. Some of my fondest memories growing up were here, I think ever since then I've I've always held a special place for it and now that I'm able to be a Seminole hopefully I can recreate a lot of those memories.”

Max Redmon, a standout defensive back from Cardinal Newman HS in West Palm, joins Florida State as a part of the 2025 class. In his high school career he totaled 162 career tackles, including 22 for loss, and 4 interceptions. Max is a dynamic player, playing both defensive back and wide receiver in high school. He​ also played basketball and track in high school. His speed and versatility as an athlete makes him a valuable addition to the DB room.

“Playing at FSU is really a dream come true and more. The players and staff make you feel welcome plus the fans and their energy really ties it together. I’m excited for this upcoming season in the new and improved Doak Campbell Stadium, can’t wait to walk on the field and have that feeling I’ve been dreaming since a kid. Four-star quarterback from Denton, Texas, dual-threat Kevin Sperry joins Florida State this year. Kevin was ranked number 11 amongst quarterbacks in the 2025 class. In his senior season he threw for 2,210 yards and 23 touchdowns while rushing for 981 yards and six touchdowns. Kevin was originally committed to Oklahoma but flipped to FSU believing in the program's vision moving forward. We’re excited to see his playmaking ability impact the Seminole’s offense for years to come.

Stefon Thompson, a veteran linebacker from New York, is joining Florida State and The Battle’s End for the 2025 season. Stefon played at Syracuse for 4 seasons and Nebraska for a season. He appeared in 47 games with 22 starts, tallying 199 tackles, including 20 for loss, 10.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He has played under Tony White at both Syracuse and Nebraska, and is reuniting with Defensive Coordinator here at Florida State. We’re excited to see his contribution to our defense this season.

Kansas City Native, James Williams, is joining Florida State this season. The redshirt junior, began his career at Iowa Central Community College where he totaled 19 tackles and 6 sacks in one season. James spent 2 seasons at Nebraska where he redshirted in 2023, tallied 14 tackles and 5 sacks in the 2024 season. James is a force to be reckoned with as a pass rusher and is expected to be a big contributor to the defense this season.

“I've been happy since the moment I stepped on here for my visit and I really felt like this is a home. You know everyone in Tallahassee I feel like has really accepted me especially here on the team.”

The Georgia Native from Greene County HS was ranked 59 overall and number 10 defensive lineman by 247. In his senior season he recorded 59 tackles, including 27 for loss and 7 sacks.He is a versatile athlete who also competed in discus and shot put events in high school. Kevin is a force in the trenches and we are excited to have him join our defense.

A two-time All-Big East Conference selection at McKeesport Area High School, Diggs also excelled in basketball, showcasing his athleticism across multiple sports.

A former four-star prospect and first-team all-state selection, he racked up 425 tackles, 18 sacks, and 57 tackles for loss at Whitefield Academy while also excelling as a two-way player on offense.

Aj Cottrill is a standout linebacker and special teams contributor for Florida State, known for his high football IQ and relentless work ethic. A CSC Academic All-District honoree and All-ACC Academic Team member he has made key plays throughout his career. Before FSU, he was a MaxPreps All-American at Jesuit, helping lead his team to a state championship while tallying over 500 career tackles.

Jamorie Flagg, a redshirt freshman from Miami, is a disruptive defensive lineman for Florida State. He dominated at Booker T. Washington, recording 112 career tackles, 19 tackles for loss, and 11 sacks while helping his team reach the state playoffs. Known for his strength and quickness, he earned All-Dade honors and established himself as a force in the trenches.

“I was so loyal to FSU because of the bond me and Coach Norvell built over the years. It wasn't really about football. It was more about becoming a man and school so like it just grabbed my attention in a different way and I just knew like he was just so genuine. That's my kind of person.”

D’Nas White was ranked #13 overall prospect in North Carolina out of high school. He was selected to the 2023 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas where he recorded 45 tackles, including two forced fumbles, two pass breakups, and 9.0 for loss with a team-leading 6.0 sacks. We are excited to announce a relationship with him for this upcoming 2025 season.

Over his collegiate career, he has totaled 147 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. A physical and versatile defender, Herring chose FSU for its aggressive defensive scheme and is expected to make an immediate impact in the Seminoles' linebacker room.

“I've always had an eye on Florida State, you know just the players that they put out, how each year they've continued to get better, and just be able to come on the map more. I’ve always been interested in being a Seminole because back at my old high school I was a warrior so you know they both add up.”
